Hoist is an enginner along with his partner Grapple. His beast mode is a Parasaurolophus. He is only a fighter for bravery. He is also an actor working for Hollywood studios, Bollywood studios, and others, in both modes, as he is a celebrity put in the Transformer Hall of Fame.
