Midnight Express is a member of Team Bullet Train, a trio of Autobots who patrol the railways. Fussy and easily flustered, he has a habit of getting lost and separated from his fellow trains. Of the three members of his team, he has the most empathy with other trains, often treating them as sentient entities even when it's clear they're not.
His alt-mode is a E4 Series Shinkansen.
