Optimus Primal
Optimus Primal is the leader of the Maximals and the captain of the spaceship Axalon, His beast mode is a Gorilla. He had a rivalry with the Predacon commander, Megatron. He was named after the Autobot leader, Optimus Prime. He was a Transmetal then he was known as Optimal Optimus, making him a Giant Ape.
In the Hasbro Cinematic Universe, he looks like his Original self his shell armor looks like a gorilla hair when he transforms into his beast mode he looks like a hyper realistic gorilla he fights Megatron and his Predacons to protect the environment habitat and he fight poachers from killing every animals his hobby is to protect the endanger species from extinction he tell lio convoy and big convoy to bring there team into their new base.

Optimus Primal vs. Megatron[]
Originally, Optimus was supposed to be a Bat. According to the Beast Wars Sourcebook, it was suggested by the Axalon computers, but Optimus rejected it in favor of the more powerful gorilla. The comic indicated that this was the new body of Optimus Prime (before the series even started).

- In the show, he was originally going to be a bat, but was changed later in production to a gorilla. Which was why he had Prime Jets even flight mode before becoming a transmetal.
- Optimus Primal was voiced by Garry Chalk in Beast Wars: Transformers Series and the Beast Machines: Transformers Series, Ron Perlman voiced Optimus Primal in the Transformers: Power of the Primes Series and voiced the Live Action Series Version of Optimus Primal in Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, Justin Pierce voiced Optimus Primal in the Third and Final Chapter of the Transformers War for Cybertron Trilogy Series.
- In "The Nightmare Room" episode "Scareful What you Wish for, the Protagonist Dylan and his friend are seen throwing an Optimal Optimus toy in a box.
